Annual Community Palm Sunday Concert 5-8 pm at the Pleasant Valley Free Methodist Church. The directions are M32 east through Atlanta to Hall Rd. Turn left which is north. It ends at a dirt road and you will turn right to stay on pavement (that is Pleasant Valley Rd). The church is on this road a few miles down on the right hand side (east). Fourteen groups will be performing. Refreshments provided. Come out for this Palm Sunday Concert. April 29, 2006 United Methodist Church, Angola, Indiana 5:30 pm. Praisathon; Sharathon; Marathon. This event starts around noon, and goes until they run out of singers. We play at 5:30. We participated in this event last year, and had a great time. There’s a small cover charge, with all proceeds going to help fund the Women’s resource Center in Angola. It’s a lot of fun and a great cause. The church is located just west of the circle in the center of town. April 30, 2006 Angola 1st Congregational United Church of Christ, Angola, Indiana 10 am. We’ll be participating in the morning worship time. There’s a pancakes and sausage lunch afterward, which everyone is invited to attend. April 30, 2006 Memphis Smoke, Royal Oak, Michigan at 8:30 pm. On the last Sunday of each month, John D. Lamb hosts a songwriters showcase. If you happen to be over that way, stop in and say hello. Other performers that night will be Dave Boutette, Chris Buhalis, and The Hummingbirds. John will also sing a couple of songs. There’s no cover charge, and we know first-hand that the pulled pork is great!
